Man dies after Tipperary house fire

A man has been killed in a house fire in Toomevara in north Tipperary.

The man in his early 30s died following a fire at a house in the Templedowney estate in the town just before 4am today.

He was rushed to Nenagh General Hospital where he later died.

Four other people in the house escaped uninjured.

The house has been sealed off pending a technical examination to determine the cause of the blaze, though it is not believed to be suspicious.
