Labour Party MEP Proinsias De Rossa has accused Ireland's EU Commissioner Charlie McCreevy of interfering in domestic politics.

Mr De Rossa claims former Minister for Finance Charlie McCreevy is trying to convince Minister for Health Mary Harney to delay introducing risk equalisation in the private health insurance market.
