Gardaí appeal for witnesses after cyclist seriously injured

Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist fell from her bike yesterday afternoon, and sustained serious head injuries.

The incident happened at the junction of Cunningham Road / Parkgate Street and Infirmary Road just before 4pm.

A passenger, who was on the carrier of the bike at the time, was uninjured.

The cyclist remains in a critical condition in hospital today.

Gardaí at the Bridewell Station are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.
