Alcohol a factor in four of 10 road crashes

Alcohol is a factor in four out of ten road crashes in Ireland, according to new research revealed at the launch of the Road Safety Authority's Christmas Anti Drink-Driving campaign.

This figure rises to over six out of ten when it comes to drivers in single vehicle collisions.
