Gardaí investigate serious sexual assault in south Dublin

Gardaí are investigating a serious sexual assault on a woman in south county Dublin.

It is alleged to have happened at Military Road, Glencree, Enniskerry between 2.30 and 8am Sunday morning.

The woman in her 20s is still being treated in Tallaght hospital for injuries to her head and body.

She has not yet been able to describe her attacker.

The woman's black DKNY handbag is still missing.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, and want to know if anyone saw a blue saloon car with a northern or English registration in the area.
