Three held over Down attack

Three men were being questioned today after a couple were attacked at their home in Co Down.

The victims, in their 40s, were assaulted by thugs, who broke into their house in the Rathgill area of Bangor, and needed hospital treatment for their injuries.

Police said the attack happened at around 6.30pm yesterday.

Investigating detectives later arrested three men for questioning about the assault.
