Govt knew of threats to Sinn Féin leaders - Ahern

The Taoiseach has confirmed that the government is aware of threats to Sinn Féin leaders over the party’s likely change in policy on policing in the North.

Bertie Ahern has said there are always certain factions who will try to destabilise processes to which they are opposed.
