Teachers criticise Government investment

The country's biggest second-level teachers union has criticised the Government for financially neglecting the education system.

The Association of Secondary Teachers of Ireland said the amount of money Ireland invests in its young people is inadequate to provide them the schooling expected in an affluent society.
