Doctor in vasectomy case 'can’t recall' procedure

The doctor being sued by a man who continues to be in severe pain after having a vasectomy 17 years ago has told the High Court he cannot remember carrying out the procedure.

Dr Niall O'Leary from McKee Drive in Finglas is adamant that he would have warned John Winston also from Finglas that there was an outside chance of ongoing pain.

Mr Winston has told the court that he received no such warning before having the surgery in August 1989.

Five years after the vasectomy Mr Winston went to the US to remove his left testicle but has said he continues to experience serious pain.
