The Labour party has strongly criticised the sustainability of the Government’s long term transport strategy, complaining the plan suffers from a lack of detail.

Although the Government’s Transport 21 plan delivered most of its undertakings on time and under budget, Labour's spokeswoman on finance, Joan Burton, questioned its ability to sustain the project in the future.
