SF seeks reform of Planning Act to boost housing provision

Sinn Féin is table a private member's motion in the Dáil tonight calling for reform of the social and affordable provisions in the Planning Act.

Under the legislation, builders were originally obliged to designate 20% of housing developments as social and affordable units.
