Baby girl dies in Tyrone road accident

A baby girl has died in a collision between a car and a van in Co Tyrone this morning.

The accident happened on a road in Newtownstewart shortly after 8am.

The driver of the car and her baby daughter were taken to Altnagelvin Hospital, where the baby was pronounced dead a short time later.
