Man arrested after fatal stabbing

Gardaí are investigating a fatal stabbing incident in Dublin.

The incident occurred at Whitetowns Walk in Whitestown, Dublin 15 in the early hours of this morning.

A 23-year-old man was taken to Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown following the incident, where he died a short time later.

A 35-year-old man has been arrested and is being questioned in Blanchardstown garda station.

The scene of the stabbing has been preserved for a technical examination.
