O'Connell St reopened after bomb scare

The army bomb disposal unit has removed a package from an Air Coach bus for forensic analysis after a bomb scare forced the Gardaí to close off Dublin's O'Connell St.

Traffic restrictions have now been removed from the area.

"We don’t know at what stage the package was placed on the bus," said a garda spokesman, who also could not confirm where on the bus the package was found.
