Foreign nationals spend night in Mountjoy after hostel fire

A group of mainly foreign nationals were given emergency accommodation at Mountjoy Prison overnight after a fire at the hostel where they were staying in Dublin's north inner city.

Five people were hospitalised for smoke inhalation following the blaze on Portland Row, which broke out at around 1am.
