300 weapons handed in as amnesty deadline approaches

With just over a week to go to the Weapons Amnesty deadline, the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice Michael McDowell has said that 300 weapons have been handed over.

Rifles, shotguns and other firearms have been surrendered to Garda stations around the country.
