SF still to decide on proposals
Sinn Féin has rejected claims that its consultation process over the St. Andrews proposals is window dressing and that its leadership have already made up their mind to endorse them.
Some within the party have claimed that the policing issue has been rushed.
However, the Sinn Féin MP for Newry/Armagh, Conor Murphy said the final decision has not yet been made by the Ard Chomhairle.
“We have a very democratic and open political structure,” he said.
“We have always said, right throughout this process that any discussion, particularly in relation to the policing issue will be decided by the Ard Fheis of the party.”
