Age Action Ireland seek hike in old age pension

Minister for Finance Brian Cowen should increase the old age pension by €24 to €206 a week according to Age Action Ireland.

The lobby group has warned that 15,000 elderly people now live in constant poverty here and the pension increase will not do much to lift them out of poverty.
