All pre-school staff to face garda vetting from next year

All staff, students and volunteers working in creches and other pre-school facilities will reportedly be required to undergo garda vetting from the start of next year.

Reports this morning say the move is one of a number of measures in revised childcare regulations due to be announced by Minister for Children Brian Lenihan today.
