The mother of the two children who were burned in a petrol attack last month in Limerick had to flee her Moyross home overnight after the house came under attack.

The mother of the two children who were burned in a petrol attack last month in Limerick had to flee her Moyross home overnight after the house came under attack.

Sheila Murray and her six children escaped to the safety of a friend's house after the incident, which occurred at 1.30am.

Bricks were thrown at the front door, the downstairs window was broken along with the windows of the family's rented car.

Gardaí at Mayorstone Garda Station are investigating the incident.
