Hain says IRA is on irreversible path away from violence

UK Secretary for the North Peter Hain has said he believes the IRA is on an irreversible path away from violence and the North's politicians should now get on with doing their jobs.

Mr Hain was responding to the latest assessment of the IRA ceasefire by the Independent Monitoring Commission.
