Harney denies secret deal to keep Bertie Ahern in power

Minister for Health Mary Harney has denied claims that the Progressive Democrats have reached a secret deal to keep the current Government in power.

The claims have been made by the opposition after PD leader Michael McDowell softened his stance on the controversy surrounding payments to the Taoiseach in 1993 and 1994.
