Man charged in relation to Derry 'cannabis farm'
A man was charged today following the discovery of a cannabis ’farm’ in Co Derry.
The 27-year-old is due to appear at North Antrim Magistrates Court on October 23 charged with possession of a Class C drug and cultivating a Class C drug.
The charges follow the arrest of a man after the planned search of a house in the Westbrook area of Coleraine on Saturday.
Police said they seized 11 cannabis plants, around £3,600 (€5,300) worth of cannabis and a large quantity of equipment believed to be used in the cultivation of the drug.
