National Fuel Scheme allowance to rise by €5

More than 300,000 social welfare recipients are to get increases in solid fuel and domestic gas allowances.

The weekly allowance under the National Fuel Scheme is going up by €5, with an extra supplement for those living in smokeless fuel areas.
