FG claims two-thirds of serious crimes go undetected

Fine Gael has accused the Minister for Justice Michael McDowell of failing to protect Dubliners from crime.

The party's deputy leader, Richard Bruton, says the most effective deterrent against crime is a high probability of getting caught.
