The Labour Party has raised concerns about the planned role envisaged for Irish peacekeepers who may be deployed in south Lebanon.

Minister for Defence Willie O'Dea announced yesterday that he would seek approval for a plan to deploy 150 Irish soldiers in the region as part of the UNIFIL peacekeeping force.
