Man dies of stab wounds
A man in his 20s died in hospital today after being found in the Ballymun area of north Dublin with stab wounds.
Gardaí said the man was found at Dane Road at around 2am and was rushed to the Mater Hospital.
He died there a short time later.
Gardaí at Ballymun are investigating the attack and the scene of the incident has been preserved for technical examination. State pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy has also been informed.
