Gardaí seize drugs worth €150,000 in Cork

Gardaí in Cork have seized drugs worth more than €150,000 during two separate searches in the city.

Officers from Garda Drugs Unit stopped a van in Hollyhill last night and recovered €75,000 worth of cannabis.

Three men were arrested. They have since been released and a file is being sent to the DPP.

During follow-up searches, a further €75,000 was found in another van on the Cross Douglas Road in the south of the city.

One man was arrested and is being held at Togher garda station.
