DAA to announce details of second Dublin Airport terminal
The Dublin Airport Authority is to announce details this afternoon of its plans for a second passenger terminal.
Last year, the Government granted the job of building the new terminal to the DAA despite demands from some sectors that it be constructed in competition with the existing facility.
Air passengers and the business community have been calling for increased capacity at the Dublin Airport for years.
Minister for Tourism John O'Donoghue said this morning that the second terminal was essential to the future growth of the tourism industry.
