NI: Burglars shoot at child's window

A shot was fired through a child’s bedroom window during a burglary.

The young person was not at home during the incident which occurred in Strabane, in Co Tyrone shortly after 11pm last night.

There were no injuries.

A man and woman were woken by the noise and later found their living room had been ransacked by the armed robbers.

Another two bullets were discharged through the living room window of the Lisnafin Park house.
