Golf club raid nets just €5,000 for raiders

It is now believed that the gang who put a Co Tipperary family through an horrific ordeal last night stole just €5,000.

Four masked men armed with pick-axe handles and a screwdriver, threatened the owner of the Nenagh Golf Club, his partner and their 12-year-old child when they returned home just before midnight last night.
