A UN report out next month is expected to criticise the Irish Government for ignoring the rights of unmarried fathers.

At the moment, unmarried fathers in this country do not have an automatic say in the upbringing of their child. This is despite a recommendation from the UN that our laws in this area should be updated to give fathers more rights.
