Woman dies in Kerry road accident

A 36-year-old woman has died following a road crash in Kerry.

She was a front seat passenger in a car which collided with a van at Curaheen in Tralee at about 2.20pm yesterday.

She was removed to Kerry General Hospital in Tralee, where she died last night.

The woman, who has not been named, is an Italian national.

The 31-year-old man who was driving the car was also removed to hospital, where his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
