Schools to get more powers to expel disruptive pupils
The Cabinet has reportedly approved plans to make it easier for schools to expel and suspend disruptive pupils.
Reports this morning say ministers have agreed to amend the Education Act to ensure that the needs of the school community are given priority over the rights of individual students.
