Gardaí seize over €1m worth of drugs in Meath

€1.4m worth of cannabis and heroin was discovered in Trim in Co Meath earlier this afternoon when Gardaí stopped and searched a van.

The discovery follows two other seizures collectively worth almost half a million euro in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

This latest haul was recovered by members of the Garda National Drugs unit and local detectives from Meath.

Two men, in their 20s and 30s have been arrested and are being held at Kells Garda station.
