Smithwick Tribunal hearings delayed until end of year

The tribunal set up to investigate the killing of two senior RUC men by the IRA 17 years ago says it will not be holding any public hearings until the end of the year.

Chief superintendent Harry Breen and superintendent Robert Buchanan died in an IRA ambush in south Armagh while returning from a meeting with Dundalk Gardai in March 1989.
