Disruption in Dublin as rail maintenance machine derails

Traffic in west Dublin is being disrupted this morning following an incident on the level-crossing at Coolmine Road.

A track maintenance machine derailed at the crossing early this morning, delaying a number of train services.

No passengers were involved in the derailment and nobody was hurt.

Rail services have since returned to normal, and the road has now been cleared and reopened to traffic.
