Helpline set up for those with relatives in Middle East

The Department of Foreign Affairs has set up a helpline for relatives and friends of Irish citizens in the Middle East.

A spokesman for the department said the helpline had been set up to assist anyone worried about relatives or friends in Lebanon or northern Israel.
