Almost 60% of Irish organisations are not providing information in Irish on their websites, according to a recent survey.

Under the Official Languages Act 2003, all public bodies are required to provide certain services through Irish.

The survey, carried out by PAN research, found that 58% did not comply with the act.

Some of the sites surveyed included state bodies, government departments and universities.
