The food industry has today defended its record in relation to alleged links between food marketing and obesity.

Speaking to a Joint Oireachtas Committee on Health and Children, director of IBEC’s Food and Drink Industry Ireland (FDII) Paul Kelly said the sector been proactive in its efforts to meet the changing needs and concerns of consumers.
