The Opposition has attacked the Government for refusing to allow a report on the statutory rape controversy to be debated in the Dáil.

The report contains the findings of an investigation into the sequence of events that led to the Government not being informed in advance about the recent Supreme Court challenge to Ireland's statutory rape laws.
