Fine Gael and Labour leaders call for early general election

The Dáil is set to debate a joint motion from Fine Gael and Labour this week calling for an early general election.

In a statement issued by the two party leaders this afternoon, Enda Kenny and Pat Rabbitte say the motion will criticise the coalition government's record.
