Opposition want investigation into handling of CC case

Fine Gael and Labour have called for an independent investigation into the state's handling of the 'CC' case, which saw convicted child rapists released from prison.

They want an all-party committee to review the law, and to examine court procedures in relation to child sexual abuse cases.
