Harney 'has no doubt McDowell will stand for election'

The Tánaiste and Progressive Democrats leader has said she has no doubt that Minister for Justice Michael McDowell will stand for the party at the next general election.

Media reports over the past two days say Mr McDowell threatened not to contest the election as part of a row over the leadership of the PDs.
