Four pedestrians were injured when they were knocked down in Togher, in Cork.

Meanwhile, gardaí in Navan are investigating after a woman received serious leg injuries when she was run over at Academy Street at 2.15am.

Gardaí believe the vehicle involved may be a silver Rover.
