Cork pupils secure best Leaving Cert results

Students in Cork reportedly secure the highest results in the Leaving Cert exams.

Reports this morning said research conducted for the Higher Education Authority found that 52% of Leaving Cert students in Cork achieved five or more honours grades in higher-level subjects in 2004.
