Elderly woman killed in Donegal road accident

A woman in her 80's has died after the car she was a passenger in was in collision with a mini-bus in Co Donegal this afternoon.

The accident happened at Ardagh, Ballyliffin shortly before 2pm.

The male driver was taken to Letterkenny hospital with minor injuries.

None of the occupants of the mini-bus were injured.

Meanwhile, gardaí in Cork have named the victim of a car crash near Kanturk last night as 20-year-old Dermot Murphy from Clara Road in Millstreet.
