Tribunal hears of £2,300 in payments to FF TD Sean Haughey

The Planning Tribunal has heard that Fianna Fáil TD Sean Haughey received payments from a property developer totalling £2,300.

The former Lord Mayor of Dublin received the money in four separate amounts between 1987 and 1992.

Mr Haughey has told the tribunal he very much regrets denying involvement with the rezoning of land at Cherrywood in south Dublin without acknowledging other unrelated payments from Monarch Properties.
