MEPs approve stronger laws to combat child sex abuse

The European Parliament has voted to introduce stronger laws to combat the sexual exploitation of children.

Welcoming the move today, Fine Gael MEP Gay Mitchell said the new legislation included a number of measures designed to boost the protection of children.
