Total tax receipts up 10% to record €40bn last year

The Revenue Commissioners has reported record tax receipts of almost €40bn for last year.

In its latest annual report, Revenue says total receipts were up €3.7bn on the figures for 2004 and €1.8bn on the Government's estimates.
